Capsule II Summer 2024
A Safari-chic inspiration.
Safari means journey, to be away. To be out of reach.
If the Spring Capsule aimed to recall a travel between the aesthetics of the past and the present, the 2024 Summer Capsule follows this research, now symbolized by a safari journey: to detach from the metropolitan chaos to move into the quieteness of a slow past. The safari setting is the clearest reference to the calmness, with its golden orange pants and jacket co-ord, or trenches or shirt dresses to tell about a warm sunset burning the desert expanses.
The combat aesthetic typical of safari is here shown in superlight pieces, such as sleevless outerwear, but also cargo shorts, pocketed jumpsuits and saharian jackets in bluette, sage green and military green, in addition to the indespensable stretch viscose linen which combines the freshness and lightness of the linen with the comfort and ease of the stretch viscose.
Nature is also recalled in the use of ramiè: a plant fabric of ancient uses which brings special characteristics as it can resist to high temperatures. We can find it in a pants tailleur or shorts tailleur, in a knot-effect braided top and a flared dress with trompe l'oeli effect knitted top.
Finally, for after-sunset occasions, which can be a summer cocktail date or a formal ceremony, Lorena Antoniazzi offers classic shirts, flared skirts and delicate and feminine dresses, but everything is characterized by rising embroidery or lace embroidery. Or, in addition, a see-through effect silk twill georgette for layering styiling embellished with chantilly finishing and satin details. Dedicated to the most audacious souls, in conclusion, we have a pijama style jacket and pants suit with a kimono in a silk liberty peacock tail print, to wear it in a total look or separated.
