Capsule I Fall 2024

Capsule I Fall 2024

The beauty of a dream

In a scheme of absolute common sense in which the world lives, focused on reality and rationality, Lorena Antoniazzi takes steps towards the freedom of a visionary spirit.

Capsule I of the Fall/Winter 2024 collection is an invitation to embrace the unusual, where it is possible to discover the beauty of the unexpected and inhabit the world in its randomness, avoiding monotony and habits to explore one's imagination.

The Lorena Antoniazzi silhouette, always sophisticated and elegant and suitable for a "classy work" wardrobe, embodies a sporty and casual-chic aesthetic with a focus on tactile and sensory pleasures.
The clothing thus becomes a personal comfort zone, taking shape in the collection in a palette of neutral travertine and beige, key colors of the first Capsule.

The tailored fit of the garments translates the desire of high society to express itself through sublime and unexpected artisanal craftsmanship.

We find, therefore, the iconic raw cut in the reinterpretation of the denim jacket, transformed into a sweater and a garment with a zip and wide collar. Similarly, there is armoured maxi-check pattern in camel-colored mohair wool for overcoats, teddy bear effect bouclé in alpaca and wool yarn, and shearling combined with nylon or knit.

Experimentation also finds space in color, where beige and gray are accompanied by intense and enveloping shades such as olive green, Tuscany red, and English blue.
The combination of Lorena Antoniazzi's classic Prince of Wales pattern with the dynamism of sporty style for everyday looks evokes a British aesthetic. It is precisely in this style, between royal casual and weekend countryside, that a traditional allure emerges, experimenting with combinations of patterns and materials. We find, then, mixes of weights, materials, and motifs, as well as garments with college details paired with maxi skirts or wide-leg pants, to play with combinations and layering to create new effects.

Knitwear is composed of noble yarns only, so in the selection of super-lightweight pieces, we find the blend of cashmere and silk for Jaipure and Zen, and 100% Brisbane wool in ultra-fine yarn to create delicate weaves, classic stripes, or color blocks.

A precious novelty of the season is the Lorena: a yarn made of wool, cashmere, and silk, created specifically for the maison with the intent to recreate the effect of a knit fabric. A sophisticated cable knit workmanship to create a smooth and sinuous fabric characterized by contrasting stripes for fit & flare or oversized dresses and for the triptych of cardigan, sweater, and pants.
