The brand

The luxury brand Lorena Antoniazzi, specializing in high-end knitwear, was founded in Perugia in 1993 thanks to the passion and creativity of Lorena Antoniazzi and her husband Luca Mirabassi, founder and owner of Sterne International, an Umbrian company that produces and distributes the brand.

The creation of the brand stemmed from the couple's desire to take on a new challenge. In the early 1990s, Lorena Antoniazzi and Luca Mirabassi decided to jointly develop a small collection of women's clothing, using prestigious yarns and innovative techniques, producing all the garments in their home region, the green heart of Italy: Umbria. Their talent and passion for fashion allowed them to create a company specialized in the production of luxury clothing, an emblem of quality, elegance, and refinement. The values upon which the company is founded are family, innovation, connection to the territory, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

From 1993 to the present day, the company has expanded, and their two children, Andrea and Nicola, have also become involved in its development and research, helping to make it a true family business in continuous growth.

The Designer

Talent, creativity, elegance, and the pursuit of beauty are qualities that Lorena Antoniazzi has developed since childhood. The sketches she made at just 10 years old for a competition held during the celebrations for the centenary of the Liberation of Veneto were exhibited at the Gran Guardia, the most prestigious museum in Verona.

Her love for fashion is a passion passed down through the family, starting with her grandfather and aunt, both tailors who made men's clothing. It is thanks to her family, and particularly to the figure of her mother, that Lorena is the woman she is today; a courageous, dreamy, and determined woman, enthusiastic and grateful to have made her dream a reality and to have transformed her passion into a career with the Brand that bears her name.

Lorena took her first steps in fashion working as a sales assistant in a clothing store in Verona, before being promoted to buyer in a short time. She later moved to Milan, the city of Italian fashion, where she was noticed by Enrico Coveri who, recognizing her talent, hired her to oversee the production of the leather garments in his collection. In a short time, Lorena Antoniazzi began to train as a designer, specializing in knitwear, thanks to working alongside great figures such as Claude Montana and Giorgio Armani.

Stores and distributors

Over time, the Brand has become a leader in the luxury market both in Europe and worldwide, focusing on a synergy between the distribution channel and the retail channel. In particular, the company aims to strengthen the retail channel by increasing the number of Lorena Antoniazzi monobrand stores around the world, also thanks to targeted partnerships with local commercial operators.

The Brand is already looking toward the short and medium-term future, selecting new locations in the best fashion districts of the most beautiful and prestigious international destinations in the world such as the USA, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and China. All Lorena Antoniazzi Boutiques are characterized by the presence of quality materials such as corten steel and wood, which evoke the presence of nature, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Elegance, comfort, and Made in Italy excellence are the values that the Brand aims to spread within its stores as well.

The first opening was in 2013 with the Boutique in Paris, followed by the opening of monobrand stores in Milan, Ortisei, and The Mall at Incisa, in Europe in Cannes and St. Moritz, in Asia in Daegu, Seoul, and Busan, in addition to being present in major department stores in Russia and China with dedicated corners. The recent expansion of the Ortisei boutique represented new development and a further step forward for the company, which aims to continuously improve and innovate to guarantee its clients a unique journey into luxury knitwear of Italian quality.
